Even before Nokia properly introduces the Lumia 928, which is reportedly heading to Verizon, marketing material for the device is already popping up around town. Unsurprisingly, the handset’s camera is already being hailed as the best low-light smartphone camera out there. Quite a statement for a nonexistent device, and I’m sure the HTC One will have something to say about that.
Nokia is planning a Lumia-focused event in London on May 14, where the company is expected to finally unveil the oft-rumored handset. From what we’ve herd previously, the Lumia 928 will sport a 4.5-inch display, 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and support for wireless charging. Nokia’s 920 already raised the bar for what’s possible in a smartphone camera, and the 928 has the potential to impress us even further. Once the device does hit, you can be we’ll put the 928’s camera through a series of tests to see how it stacks up.
