The Galaxy Note III has yet to receive any official confirmation that it exists, but that isn’t stopping the rumors from flowing like water. Anyone up for both an octo-core processor and an octo-core graphics chip?
According to “a trusted source” that spoke with SamMobile, the Galaxy Note III won’t only sport an octo-core Exynos 5 processor, but also an octo-core Mali 450 GPU with 8 cores. Additionally the latest member of Samsung’s phablet family is also said to sport a Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and will be running the latest iteration of Android, whether that is Android 4.3 or 5.0 is up for some debate, however.
Currently it is believed the Galaxy Note III will be introduced in Sept. at IFA 2013 in Berlin, which seems plausible as IFA 2012 was where the Galaxy Note II made its debut.
As with all rumors these should be taken with a grain of salt, but SamMobile does have a fairly decent track record when it comes to new Galaxy devices.
