AT&T just confirmed that it will offer the LG Optimus G Pro beginning on May 10. The device will cost $199.99 with a new two-year contract and will be available for pre-order online starting on May 3. Those who pre-order the phone will also be treated to a free black Quick Cover case.
We’ve already unboxed the international version of the G Pro, so you should have a decent idea of what to expect. The smartphone packs a large 5.5-inch display with a full HD 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution and a 400ppi. It also offers a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera capable of recording HD video, support for AT&T’s 4G LTE network and much more. Similar to the Galaxy S4, users can take advantage of a dual-recording feature, which allows you to record video with both the front-facing and the rear-facing cameras active.
The device runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and comes with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a 64GB microSD card for a total of 96GB of storage. AT&T said customers can take advantage of its new trade-in deal to receive at least $100 toward the purchase price of the Optimus G Pro.
