The HTC One prevailed against the Samsung Galaxy Note II in yesterday’s matchup (70-percent to 30-percent). Next week, we will see the LG Nexus 4 vs. the HTC One. Today’s winner will match-up will go up against the winner of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Kyocera Torque pairing.
The third match-up in our Mobile Madness random pairing of mobile devices is the Asus PadFone vs. the Samsung ATIV Odyssey. The device match-ups were chosen at random through a very sophisticated selection process. The AsusPadFone comes paired with a station that converts the phone to a tablet, we will focus on the specifications of the phone only. This pairing is our first that pits differing operating systems, so it should be interesting to see the results.

Samsung’s ATIV Odyssey, hitting Verizon on Jan. 24 for $50 with two-year contract, is in the TechnoBuffalo offices, ready to unbox. If you’ve held Samsung’s Galaxy S III Mini, this is basically that form factor, complete with 4-inch screen, but with Windows Phone 8 under the hood.
