Apple Stock Falls to Lowest in 52 Weeks

Apple’s stock fell to a new low today, clocking in at $429.46, the cheapest the stock has been in 52-weeks. The price has since gained a bit of steam and is now down just 1.52% to $434.70. The stock’s lowest 52-week closing price is $435, but just a few months ago it was trading as high as $705 before the company released Q1 earnings that missed Wall Street’s estimates.
As Barron’s notes, there isn’t a particular reason for why the stock fell today, although we think it could been strategically beneficial if Apple had followed in the same footsteps it took last year by stealing the thunder from this week’s Mobile World Congress show.
