Apple didn’t only drop the price of new MacBook Pro with Retina display and MacBook Air models, it also lowered the prices of its refurbished models. These are generally a good buy, especially if you’re looking to pick up a new laptop at a discounted price that still has a warranty.

9to5Mac noticed on Wednesday morning that the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and 256GB of hard drive storage is now available for just $1,359. A refurbished 2012 MacBook Air with a 1.8GHz dual-core processor and 128GB of storage can also be had for $999, and the 256GB model is priced at $1,189. We’re pretty sure the latter is where the new discount applies.
