That other Optimus G Pro we saw late last week, the one with the 5.5-inch screen, is the real deal, and it more than lives up to its super phone billing. Aside from being enormous, the device looks quite nice—if a bit like the Galaxy Note from the front—carrying over that glittered sheen we saw on the Nexus 4.

The handset sports a curved glass look, which LG described as a 2.5D effect. Specs include a quad-core processor (probably Snapdragon S4 Pro), and Full HD screen. LG didn’t divulge every last detail, but a previously leaked spec sheet tells us all we need to know: 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 32GB of internal storage (microSD expandable to 64GB and a 3,140mAh battery.

LG said the device should arrive later in the month, but didn’t nail down an exact date. With Mobile World Congress coming up, I suspect LG would be in a more sharing mood then.
