The evasi0n jailbreak for iOS 6.0 through iOS 6.1 will launch today at some point. @Planetbeing, one of the developers working on the project, confirmed the release date via Twitter and the group’s website currently says the project is “101%” completed.
The untethered jailbreak will be available for Windows, Windows Os X and Linux users who own an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or newer. You’ll need to use a USB cable to jailbreak your device, and we’ve heard that it won’t work properly if you updated to iOS 6.1 over-the-air.
We’ll keep you updated when it’s available.
Update: It’s available now.
