The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Announced for Wii U

Today, Nintendo announced that they will remake The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Wii U. The game will be in HD and should drop this fall.
Nintendo will be updating the graphics into HD, but they’ll also make it playable on the Wii U GamePad, add Miiverse compatibility and tweak some gameplay mechanics.
Wind Waker is absolutely my favorite game in the Zelda universe. I cannot wait for this release.
Nintendo is also working on a new Zelda for Wii U, but that wasn’t revealed.
