You may want to sit down because the image above is quite possibly HTC’s next flagship Android smartphone. Android Police recently got its hands on the shot, which shows the device running software that looks an awful lot like the rendered images we published over the weekend.

There’s not much to gather about what Sense 5 will offer just yet, but we can see there appears to be specific customizable sections on the home screen, presumably for new HTC widgets for social networks, weather, news and tips, as well as revised lock screen. The icons are also tweaked a bit. As Android Police notes, the back of the phone looks really similar to the DROID DNA and, as with most HTC smartphones, it sports Beats branding.

We’re expecting HTC to make a splash during Mobile World Congress next month, and this device might just be what makes that happen.
