If the HTC Butterfly (DROID DNA) or Samsung Galaxy Note II don’t tickle your fancy, the Oppo Find 5 could be just the phone – though for now, you’ll have to pick it up through international channels. Oppo’s flagship device, the Find 5, will be going on pre-order in China on January 15th for 2,998 yuan ($485).

As a recap, the Oppo Find 5 packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, a 5-inch 1080p HD display, a 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.1. The Find 5 is expected to come to the United States in due time, at $500 for the 16GB variant and $570 for the 32GB model.

It’s a competitor to other hot, large smartphones on the market and it’ll certainly be interesting to follow sales in China and around the world. Would you consider a device from Oppo, or do you prefer HTC and Samsung?
