Pantech seems to be making a new splash in the United States with Android phones after what seemed like a bit of a hiatus as Samsung and HTC released flagship smartphones. The Pantech Perception, spilled by evleaks on Thursday, apparently sports an 1176 x 720-pixel display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

We don’t know when the Pantech Perception will launch, but as Engadget notes, evleaks suggested that it will come in at a $50 price point with a new two-year contract.
