Sony just took the wraps off of its latest flagship smartphones, the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL. We had a chance to swing by and quickly check out the Xperia Z, which features a full 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE and a 13-megapixel camera. Best of all, its resistant against water, unlike the Xperia ZL.
We dig the thin design, it feels super light in the hand and the 5-inch screen doesn’t make it feel overly bulky. Sony said the Xperia Z will begin to roll out during the first quarter of this year, although it hasn’t announced any U.S. carrier partners.
