Sony Xperia Z Shows up On the CES Show Floor Early

Sony’s Xperia Z is already squatting on the CES show floor—the above picture is proof. Someone setting up the company’s booth must have snapped a super sneak spy shot without the company’s permission, because nothing has officially been confirmed or announced—yet. Except, with all the previous Xperia Z leaks, we might as well say this one is a sure thing for a CES unveil. I mean, it’s on the show floor.
The 5-inch, 1080p smartphone will finally be unwrapped for the masses by Sony—finally!—though its final specs are still up for contention. Engadget, who received said picture of the Z, didn’t receive the full preferential treatment of specs or when the device will be released, but we’ll likely find out soon enough seeing as Sony has an event scheduled for tomorrow.
