How about playing a new game in 3D that features Om Nom, the love-able, candy-hungry monster from Cut the Rope?
Before you ask, “AR” means Augmented Reality. Basically, the game tasks players with printing off an image and setting it in a well-lit location. Then, players turn their phones toward the image and make sure the camera focuses in. That’s when these Augmented Reality games display virtual images on top of the printed out paper sitting in the real world.
Sometimes these AR features work, sometimes they don’t. It appears, however, that ZeptoLab, the creators of Cut the Rope, have a working winner on their hands with Om Nom: Candy Flick.
This new AR game is completely free on the iOS platform, but there’s been no word on an Android version yet. We’ll let you know.
