We last saw Huawei’s Ascend D2 after it leaked as it made its way through the FCC. Now we have several new photos of the device, which we’re expecting will make its official debut during the Consumer Electronics Show in just a couple of weeks.

As earlier leaks have suggested, we’re again hearing that the Android phablet will pack a 5-inch display with a full 1080p display, a quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a massive 2,900mAh (or 3,000mAh, depending on the rumor you listen to) battery and a 13-megapixel camera. The device looks more rectangular than recent phablets, such as the DROID DNA, and clearly has sharper edges. I’m also not really digging the raised camera module on the back of the phone.

We’ll certainly know more about the Ascend D2 during CES, so stay tuned for photos and video.
