Mexico’s Telcel is getting exclusive dibs on Nokia’s Lumia 505, a budget Windows Phone 7.8 handset that comes equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA (800×480) ClearBlack AMOLED display and 8-megapixel camera. But we already knew that.
There are actually quite a few features packed into the device, which should be a good companion for the younger crowd. It comes with all the Live tiles fanciness of Windows Phone, promises a respectable 7.2 hours of talk time, and exudes that famed Nokia signature of color and engineering.
Nokia was coy about the handset’s exact processor (rumors suggested a single-core 800MHz), but didn’t mind sharing other specs: 256MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1,300mAh battery. No pricing or release date has been made official, though the device is already up on Telcel’s website, patiently awaiting its debut.
