Apple Infringes on Three MobileMedia Patents, Court Says

A court recently ruled that Apple is infringing on three patents owned by MobileMedia Ideas, Bloomberg confirmed in a tweet Thursday. Unfortunately, however, it’s currently unknown which patents Apple is guilty of infringing.
Apple, itself, has accused plenty of firms in court for violating its intellectual property, but this type of lawsuit is a bit different. MobileMedia Ideas is a bit of a patent troll, which means it basically buys and licenses patents out to other firms and then takes others, that infringe on patents, to court. The company currently owns 300 patents. We’ll keep you updated with any new information as it becomes available.
