Find My iPhone Now Provides Driving Directions to Your Lost Device

By | 1

Apple released Find My iPhone version 2.0.1 on Tuesday, which now provides driving directions to your lost Apple product. The software pin points your device on a map and allows you to play a noise, put it in lock mode or erase it completely (as it always has), and the update requires iOS 6 in order to work. As Apple points out, the directions are on a map that is separate from the main menu of those aforementioned options.

Hopefully this makes it much easier to locate a lost product, especially if you’re already in the car and need to find the fastest route to it. Let’s just hope you didn’t lose your iPhone somewhere near Mildura, Australia.
