HTC, Samsung and LG all have devices with 5-inch screens or larger, which we lovingly refer to as “phablets” – a cross between a tablet and a smartphone due to the large screen size. ZTE is apparently working on its own phablet device, dubbed the Nubia Z5.

The phone apparently has a 5-inch screen with a full 1080p display, similar to the HTC DROID DNA, and runs Android. It’s also allegedly powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, has 2GB of RAM and packs a 13-megapixel camera.

The phone is expected to make its debut in China later this month. While we’d love to see a version of it hit U.S. shores, we highly doubt it ever will.
