Microsoft has updated its Xbox SmartGlass app for iOS, bringing with it optimization for the iPhone 5’s larger screen. That’s it. It’s still the same experience that was made available early last month, but now users don’t have to put up with those unsightly black bars. The usual bug fixes were also included in the update, but it’s unclear how far reaching those improvements go. So go, control your Xbox 360 with your iPhone 5. It’ll likely be the only way Microsoft and Apple’s gear will tango in harmony.
