Still upset with Apple’s Maps solution? Have no fear, Nokia is HERE. The company released its cloud-based mapping application for iOS on Tuesday, dubbed “HERE,” and it’s chock full of free features. You can see satellite, standard, public transportation and live traffic maps, search for points of interest in more than 200 countries, save favorite places to collections and more. There’s also a voice-guided turn-by-turn feature for walk navigation and directions for driving and public transportation. The application is available now for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later. It’s already optimized for the iPhone 5’s larger display, too.
Nokia previously said that an Android version is in development although it’s still unclear when that will launch.
