RIM’s CEO Thorsten Heins recently attended a Lakers basketball game with the vice president of product management, Andrew Bocking, where the two were carrying a pair of brand new smartphones. A sharp eye in the crowd noticed the execs were sitting courtside snapping photos using, presumably, BlackBerry 10 L-Series handsets. It’s not exactly something you would see from another CEO. Apple, for example, tries to disguise its test devices. Hopefully this means we’ll hear more about the BlackBerry devices during RIM’s BlackBerry 10 launch event in January.
