A JFK employee named Renel Rene Richardson has been arrested in connection with this week’s $1.9 million iPad mini heist. His downfall? Being a little too conspicuous about shipments details and where he might acquire a forklift.

According to court papers, authorities feel Richardson’s curiosity is no mere coincidence, particularly because he works at the Cargo Air Services building. That obviously (for now) makes him the prime suspect in the theft, which he allegedly perpetrated with two other unknown individuals.

Richardson was said to have acted as the outfit’s lookout while the Apple gear was loaded onto a truck. Richardson is said to be cooperating with authorities for now, though it’s unclear whether or not any of the minis have been found.
