Nokia Lumia 920 white

We expected the Nokia Lumia 920 to remain exclusive to EE in the United Kingdom — at least until other carriers launched their own 4G networks. But British retailer Clove.co.uk has announced that a SIM-free model will be on sale from Tuesday, November 13.

That means you can avoid those pricey 24-month 4G tariffs if you’re not too bothered about the super speeds, and use the handset with your existing plan on any U.K. network. The SIM-free device will only be available from Clove in white initially, and it’ll be priced at £520 (approx. $826). You can pre-order yours today.

The Lumia 920 is Nokia’s latest flagship Windows Phone device. It comes with Windows Phone 8 pre-installed, and packs a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It also has a 4.5-inch 1280 x 768 display, and an 8.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

Will you be picking up a SIM-free Nokia Lumia 920 tomorrow?
