Microsoft Updates its SkyDrive App, Adds Windows Phone 8 Support

By | +

microsoft-skydrive-windows-phone-8Microsoft on Wednesday launched a Windows Phone 8 compatible SkyDrive app, and it comes with some very welcome features. In addition to being able to simply access SkyDrive content, the new version 3.0 gives users greater control while on the go.

Now you can do things like search for files and folders, along with the ability to set size settings when uploading/downloading photos. Lastly, and certainly worth mentioning, is the fact that Microsoft updated the app icons and visuals, meaning it’ll look extra pretty on those high resolution Windows Phone 8 screens. That’s the gist of the update. Of course, you can still do things like view recently used documents, share files and photos, and upload videos right from your phone.
