Google said earlier this month that carrier billing would be supported in the “coming weeks” for Verizon Wireless customers. Well folks, today is your lucky day. The service is now live, according to Droid-Life, making Verizon the second major U.S. wireless carrier to support the option (Sprint is the other).
What is carrier billing, you ask?
It allows you to buy games, music, movies, magazines, books or any other consumable media from the Google Play store and charge it to your monthly wireless bill. It’s perfect if you’re running low on cash and really want to load up on games for your upcoming flight, or if you simply want to see your bill in one place at the end of the month.
