So Apple finally went and did it: With Amazon and Google running away with the smaller tablet market, Apple announced the iPad mini. It wasn’t the biggest secret around town — companies are finding it quite difficult to surprise us these days — though it’s still a bit surreal to acknowledge its existence. The mini wasn’t the only announcement last week, however, with gadgets like the iMac, Mac mini and even the eight month old iPad getting a refresh. Oh, and Apple introduced a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina for those media prosumers. What was your pick of the lot?
