Having gone nearly a 100 days over the average refresh cycle, a new version of the Mac mini was definitely in order, but was it enough of an update for the little desktop that could? It seems that way. Apple refreshed the Mac mini with several spec bumps on Tuesday, including a faster processor, a quad-core option, updated Intel HD Graphics, additional memory and the same sweet $599 starting point.
