Some relatively older Motorola handsets just aren’t getting Jelly Bean, and that’s just the way it is. Apparently old dogs really can’t learn new tricks. Following up on last month’s rebate page, the manufacturer has released a full detailed look at how the offer will look, including which devices qualify for the $100. Sorry DROID 3, DROID X2, ATRIX 2 and PHOTON 4G owners, but Jelly Bean is out of the question.
To participate, there are some very specific rules, and you have to purchase another Motorola handset in order to cop the free dough. The upgrade list, at least, is interesting, with the brand new RAZR M, RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD all making the cut on Motorola’s “You must purchase” list.
I don’t know about you, but $100 off any of those three sounds like a pretty banging deal to me. Just know that if you do want to take advantage of Motorola’s offer, you have to be off your contract, otherwise you might have some ETF to contend with.
