Sprint to Offer LG Optimus G on Nov. 11 for $199 on Two-Year Contract

By | 2

sprint_lg_optimus_gLG already made it apparent that Sprint would offer the LG Optimus G, but it was never 100 percent clear when and for how much. We already got a hands-on with the device toward the tail-end of last month, so what’s the deal? Give us a price and release date. On Monday Sprint was right on cue.

The carrier finally felt that, rather than continuing to make anxious customers wait on pins and needles, it was time to share all the pertinent Optimus G information. If a device like the iPhone 5 isn’t your thing, and you feel like the Galaxy Note II is too much device to handle, than the Optimus G for Sprint will be available on Nov. 11 for $199 on two-year contract. There are maybe a contingency of people that can’t wait.

It’s a bit underwhelming, despite the device’s flagship specs: 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.7-inch True IPS HD display, 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM and 2,100mAh battery. Maybe we’re just too darn excited about what’s coming from Windows Phone 8, or the fact that there are possibly multiple Nexus devices on the way. We’ll see how we like the G when it hits next month.
