Google is working on a new version of Google Maps for iOS 6 and the iPhone 5, we already know that. However, we still don’t know exactly when the company will publish the app to the iTunes App Store. Worse, Google doesn’t seem to be in much of a rush to launch it. Now, however, developer Ben Guild has published screen shots and information related to Google Maps for iOS 6.
Guild says the Google Maps will support the iPhone 5’s 4-inch display, is “super fast,” has two-finger rotation support and is vector-based. He said the software is in alpha, but didn’t provide any other additional information besides the very limited screen shots, which we’ve included below. Hopefully we hear more from Google soon.
