LG released an obnoxious new Optimus G advertisement that is an all-out sensory bludgeoning. Rather than depicting the device being used in real world settings, the four minute dubstep ballet uses trickery and wizard hand movements to pretend like its recently announced Optimus G materialized out of a Matrix lab. LG seems to have mastered the opposite of the Less is More approach, and absolutely obliterated the notion in favor of loud wub-wubs and flashy editing. What the performers are doing is much more interesting than what LG is attempting to market, which is a smartphone. I think?
