Black and Brown Samsung Galaxy S III Models Headed to Verizon Wireless
By Todd Haselton | 5
Sweet. We first saw the black Galaxy S III pop-up online a few months ago and it appears that Verizon Wireless is gearing up to offer it soon, in addition to a new brown model. The internals are expected to remain the same, but it’s possible we’ll see a 64GB option, too. Verizon says that both hues are “coming soon” and offers customers an option to input their email addresses for additional updates.
I’ve already sounded off on this before, but it’s frustrating that carriers don’t offer the variety of color options from the get-go. I’m guessing there are more than just a few Galaxy S III owners out there who would have preferred black or brown over the blue and white models that first launched. Still, I respect Verizon and Samsung’s willingness to offer consumer’s a larger selection of colors to choose from.
Oddly enough, we can’t find reference to the phone’s on Verizon’s website, but the above image looks legitimate to us. We’re guessing these versions will launch in time for the holidays.
