Samsung Reportedly Testing Buttonless Devices With 3GB of RAM

By | 4

samsung-prototype-3gb-ramSamsung is allegedly testing a buttonless device for next year that could come equipped with 3GB of RAM. And before you ask why so much memory is needed, SamMobile suggests Samsung is working on new improvements with the Android software that will take advantage of the extra RAM. Samsung’s current devices are just getting 2GB of RAM as standard, though the Korean company is constantly pushing the envelope. In devices like the Galaxy S III and Note II, Samsung has included some wonderful additions to the software that take advantage of the higher specs, so we may see similar improvements down the line. Not much else is known about the prototype devices pictured above, but they likely indicate what’s to come.
