Dishonored Goes Gold

It’s hardly a surprise, but it’s still a relief: Bethesda confirms that Dishonored has gone gold. With how frequently games are delayed just weeks before release, it’s good to get confirmation that this highly anticipated title will be ready on-time.
Three years of development across two studio locations has resulted in more than 30 versions of the game (accounting, Bethesda says, for different languages, countries, and platforms). Bethesda also confirms the release dates:
Coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, Dishonored will be available in North America and France on October 9, 2012, in Australia and Spain on October 11, 2012, and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012.
