Sony Demonstrates its Gadgets Are Splash-Proof With a Live Demonstration (Video)

By | 1

Sony on Wednesday provided a live demonstration of its splash-proof with IPx4 technology, and we thought it would make for a fun little video. As you can see, Sony has no problem dousing its fresh lineup of tablets and handsets with a little water. They all take the abuse in stride, although none of the three Sony handsets are turned on (or did they malfunction from the water?). Either way, the company is promising its devices will survive an accidental splash of water without incident, which is always good to know for a little piece of mind. Just don’t expect to call in a to-go order while body boarding the Pacific.
