Nintendo on Tuesday sent out press invites for a Wii U Preview set for Thursday, Sept. 13. The follow up to the immensely popular Wii has made brief appearances at trade shows over the past several months, and as we edge closer to its promised fall release, it seems as though the company is (hopefully) finally willing to unveil the most important details: release date and price.
The early morning event promises attendees will learn more about “how the Wii U will change the future of gaming and entertainment.” We’ve already seen with our own eyes what the Wii U is capable of, so it’ll be interesting to see what Nintendo has on deck.
Nintendo COO Reggie Fils-Aime will host the day’s event, which kick off at 10 am and runs until 4 that afternoon. You’d expect the Japanese company to announce some pretty significant news if it’s setting aside such a large chunk of time dedicated specifically to the upcoming console. Lets hope Nintendo is in a sharing mood come Sept. 13.
