Apple on Friday began seeding the first build of OS X 10.8.1 to developers, though strangely the company didn’t report any known issues. Instead, the instructions to developers said to focus their attention on specific areas for testing: Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange in Mail, SMB and the like. Since hitting late last month, many users, including some in the TechnoBuffalo Herd, reported some serious Wi-Fi issues. It’s unclear if the build will rectify the issue, but the answer will likely surface in the following days. The 36.4MB download is available right now at developer.apple.com.
