If 65-inch televisions with high-definition 1080p displays just don’t satisfy you, then it may be a good idea to pick up your next TV from South Korea, where LG is releasing a massive 84-inch Ultra HD 4K Smart TV next month.
Only a limited number of these sets will be released (84), so you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one. You’ll also have to be relatively rich, too, because they’re selling for 25 million won (approx. $22,000), though you will get a free 3D camcorder if you pre-order early.
The set features a 4K display with a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution — which is also 3D compatible for your new camcorder — and a 2.2 stereo speaker system.
If you don’t fancy purchasing a TV that costs more than a car, then you can hold onto your cash until LG releases its first UHDTV products in North America, Europe, and Asia later this year. You’ll then be able to pick up regular-sized sets that don’t require their own theater, which will cost significantly less than this one — albeit still expensive at first.
