Something INCREDIBLE (emphasis HTC’s) is coming next week from HTC, the company announced via Twitter. If you didn’t pick up on the reference, we can no doubt expect the DROID Incredible 4G LTE to hit Verizon, probably on July 5 as a previous rumor indicated. It’s been a long journey for a phone that we got a hands-on all the way back during CTIA in May, but it seems the device will finally reach its destination. The Incredible 4G LTE will include such specs as a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, 4-inch qHD Super LCD display, Android 4.0, 8-megapixel camera, Beats Audio and Sense 4.

Google hosted its first Project Ara developers conference last week, where it finally revealed more detailed information on its modular smartphone project. Ara is currently in the hands of the firm’s Advanced Technologies and Products (ATAP) team, who have been tasked with turning an idea into a real, physical product that Google hopes to sell to the entire world at various price points as early as January 2015.
