Siri Coming to the New iPad; Older Models Left in the Cold

Dictation was just an appetizer. Apple on Monday revealed that Siri is coming to the new iPad in iOS 6, and the new iPad only. Unfortunately, Apple’s voice assistant will not be available on older models, even though we know the iPad 2 is more than capable of running it.
