Wow – this is big news, folks. The rumors were true, Virgin Mobile announced on Thursday that it will offer both an 8GB iPhone 4 and a 16GB iPhone 4S beginning on June 29th without a contract. The devices will cost $549.99 and $649.99, respectively. Those prices may seem steep, but you have to take into consideration that you won’t be tied down with a contract and will have an unlimited data and text plan starting at just $30.00 with 300 minutes. Virgin Mobile also offers 1,200 minute plan for $40 and an unlimited voice minutes plan for $50 per month.

Virgin Mobile will offer iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with its Beyond Talk unlimited data and messaging plans as low as $30[1] per-month on the Sprint® Nationwide Network[2]. iPhone will be available without a contract and with no fees for activation or roaming. New and existing customers can purchase iPhone at www.virginmobileusa.com, RadioShack, Best Buy and select local retailers.
