That June 20 date leaked in a Best Buy Canada ad is looking like North America’s day of the Galaxy S III. Samsung previously revealed the device would hit the U.S. in June, so coupling that with yesterday’s image, we had our suspicions a simultaneous North American launch was in store. Looks like our suspicions were warranted.
According to TmoNews, the much anticipated Galaxy S III is launching on June 20 for T-Mobile in both 16GB and 32GB flavors. What’s interesting about the date, though, is that TmoNews lists the Metallic Blue version for the June date, but earlier news suggested that color has been delayed due to production issues. The 16GB white version is listed for a July 11 release.
The S III isn’t the only big device hitting T-Mobile this summer. The gigantic Galaxy Note will allegedly make its way to T-Mobile on July 11, along with the Huawei Phoenix and Huawei Buddy, which are both myTouch devices.
TmoNews said no pricing information was shared, nor any word on a 32GB white version of the Galaxy S III. While these are in no way confirmed dates, we wouldn’t blame you for marking your calendars. Maybe just a half circle around the June 20 date will suffice until we hear more.
