T-Mobile USA is reportedly preparing to launch the HTC One S, an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone announced during Mobile World Congress, on April 22nd. TMoNews first reported on the story and admitted that it’s a bit out of the ordinary for T-Mobile to launch a new device on a Monday. The One S falls just below the One X in HTC’s new family of smartphones. It has a MAO aluminum coating that’s both durable and scratch-resistant, but soft to the touch. It’s equipped with a 4.3-inch qHD super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM< a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, Beats Audio, Bluetooth 4.0 and more. T-Mobile customers should definitely get excited about this phone. Unfortunately we still don’t know how much it will cost, although we wouldn’t be surprised to see it fall in at about $199.99.
