Twitter Psychology (Infographic)
By Emily Price | 1
If you’ve got a Twitter account, chances are you’re at least a little bit interested in how many people are following you on the service. It’s nice to see that old follower number climb over time (you can follow me @emily BTW), and it’s also easy to get discouraged when you tweet something an immediately lose a handful (or a boatload) of followers.
There’s definitely a psychology behind our Twitter habits, and the guys at WhiteFireSEO created this infographic to display a little bit of it.
Did you know:
- 80% of those with over 500 followers would rather follow a focused account?
- 36 tweets a day is considered “oversharing” by most
- 66% of people unfollow others because they’re tweeting too much
Check out the infographic below for some more Twitter psychology, and tell us what you think in the comments!
