Ice Cream Sandwich is coming! Did you hear? On a brand-spanking new phone even. And some other phones as well. But what about tablets?

One of Google’s biggest goals with their new OS was to end Android fragmentation heading into the future, so it’s seems that it would only be a matter of time before certain tablets started seeing Ice Cream Sandwich confirmation.

The Motorola XOOM has been confirmed to receive the update, says one Moderator at Motorola’s support forms, although when exactly is unknown. It’s good news that will certainly please XOOM owners. While no time frame was given, and virtually no information was divulged, we at least know it’s coming. As soon as a date is given TechnoBuffalo will be sure to share, so stay tuned.
