The folks over at CellPhoneSignal got ahold of the front and rear photos of the HTC Amaze that you see above. Speculation is that this is the next entry in the myTouch series for T-Mobile, but the lack of a keyboard, branding or the usual user interface for that line makes us wonder. Perhaps the carrier is going in a new direction with the label? We’ll have to wait and see.
No matter what the intended purpose of this phone is, it looks to be a pretty robust handset from the specs that have surfaced: A 1.5 GHz dual-core processor (believed to be a Snapdragon), 1GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch qHD display, all powered by Android 2.3.
A leaked flyer back in August pointed to an October 26 release for the phone, and with these press-style photos surfacing now, that seems like a pretty safe bet as being accurate.
