You may remember that we already got a sneak peek at the HTC Holiday earlier this month when the device showed up in a classified ad on Craigslist. The device was expected to boast a whopping 4.5-inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and is said to be accompanying the Samsung Impulse 4G as one of the first few LTE devices making its way to AT&T.
Since then, Engadget has confirmed those specifications and has more photographs and screenshots of the Holiday in action:
HTC Holiday Specs:
- Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread)
- HTC Sense 3.0
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 4.5-inch qHD display
- 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash
- 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
- Bluetooth 3.0
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
The specs are similar to those found in the HTC Evo 3D, though that 8-megapixel camera substitutes the two 5-megapixel cameras found in the 3D handset. HTC has kindly loaned me an Evo 3D to play around with and I have to say I’m very impressed with it. The device is incredibly fast and responsive and that qHD display is fantastic. If you’re not too bothered about 3D, the Holiday could be the perfect alternative.
When it launches on AT&T, the Holiday is expected to be named the HTC Waikiki.
Based on those photographs and specifications, are you looking forward to the HTC Holiday/Waikiki arriving on AT&T?
