We’ve known for some time that the BlackBerry PlayBook was coming to Sprint, but the lack of an official date was becoming maddening. Spantechular got a hold of an internal Sprint document that explains that the device has been delayed until May 8th on the carrier, but it doesn’t list any reason why it’s taking some extra time to get this device out into the market. While the Wi-Fi only version has hit now, a cellular version has been the missing ingredient for some.
Hopefully there won’t be any more delays, but we’ll see come May 8th if the tablet will finally be coming out on the Sprint network.
What do you think? Can you wait until May 8th for a cellular version of the BlackBerry PlayBook?
